Do you sometimes feel that something is missing in your life, that you could feel better, or want to stop making the same mistakes? Are you struggling with a new change in your life or with re-occurring issues that seem to be holding you back? Many times we underestimate or don’t even recognize the stress we are facing with life changes. Often we need some extra support in assessing our situation and assistance in making adjustments or improvements in our lives. Therapy is a place where you can overcome self-destructive patterns, explore feelings, learn new behaviors and improve your mood.
I offer a safe place of non-judgment where you are free to explore your feelings and relationships. Coming to therapy is a positive action in that you are taking time to allow yourself to grow. Many new skills can be gained from participation in therapy such as improved communication with loved ones, a greater sense of well-being and new tools for coping with stress. I can teach you skills that you can take with you and continue to use on your own.
I believe that we are all deserving of compassion and understanding. My focus is on people’s strengths and I believe everyone has them. I believe your active participation in therapy will yield the most results. At times it will be hard work and your questions or concerns are welcome. I am here to assist you in reaching your therapeutic goals, so that you may experience improved emotional and behavioral functioning and lead a more fulfilling life.
